Blockchain Technology Promoting Data Privacy Protection and Sharing in Communication Networks

Ting Xie, Yue Zhu · 2024

Data privacy protection and sharing are key challenges in communication networks, and how to promote data resource sharing while protecting data security has always been a concern. This paper explores how to use blockchain technology to promote data privacy protection and sharing in communication networks. In this paper, we design a blockchain-based data privacy protection and sharing system architecture, which includes key modules such as user authentication, data encrypted storage, distributed access control, etc., aiming at realizing the full life cycle management of data. Meanwhile, this paper comprehensively evaluates the performance of blockchain technology in communication network data management. The experimental results show that the data privacy protection coverage of blockchain technology in communication network is significantly higher than that of traditional centralized technology, reaching 95.8 % on average, which reflects its advantages in distributed and encrypted aspects.
