This study focuses on development of a secure and efficient image cryptosystem optimized for IoT devices. The proposed technique addresses the and resource constraints of IoT devices, it introduces a hybrid encryption approach where an amalgam of algorithms such as Arnold’s Cat Map, ECC, Diffie-Hellman (ECDH), AES is used for optimized encryption for the image data. This combination ensures compact, secure, and resource-efficient encryption suitable for IoT systems. The system is evaluated through various performance metrics demonstrating its effectiveness in lightweight cryptography applications while ensuring high levels of security against common cryptanalytic attacks.
