Comprehensive Analysis of Security Mechanisms Against SQL Injection Across Diverse Database Models
Sathishkumar Veerappampalayam Easwaramoorthy · 2024
This report explores a variety of different security measures that aim to stop an SQL injection attacks among several database types including relational, graph, wide column, key-value and document stores. SQL injection attacks still represent an important threat that can lead to unauthorized access, data breaches and serious operational disruptions. The author examines parameters queries as well as input validation and access control techniques in light of their ability to avoid SQL injection while at the same time weighing performance against scalability. Security practices for databases like Neo4j, Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB, and Oracle assert that higher level security measures need to be combined with effective operations. However code comparisons combined with testing results demonstrate how safety issues are handled by each DBM which is then followed by suggestions for improvement in future moments for database technology
