Interrupted-sampling repeater jamming recognition based on the PC-LFM waveform

The interrupted-sampling repeater jamming (lSRJ) can cause a series of false targets after pulse compression by quickly sampling and forwarding radar signals, which poses a significant threat to radar performance. This paper proposes a new electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) method based on the phase-coded linear frequency modulation (PC-LFM) waveform. In particular, by leveraging the de-chirping operation on the obtained PC-LFM waveform, a novel processing scheme is developed to explore the disparity features between the target and the ISRJ in the range profile. As a result, a target detection method is proposed to identify interference based on these feature differences. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed target recognition method.
