Research on Position Prediction and Rescue Path Planning Based on Multi-Model Approaches

Yang Li, Boyuan Lu, Peiran Zhao · 2025

Currently, the accuracy of the predicted location and effectiveness of path planning are crucial in a rescue operation. However, the location of rescue objects can be changed over time due to their original speed and environmental factors such as gravity and terrain. Therefore, this study aims to construct a multi-layer dynamic prediction and rescue model for a target object, to further enhance the safety and stability rate against the impact caused by its original speed and other environmental factors. This paper will present the methods and algorithms to construct the multi-layer dynamic prediction model to accurately predict the location. In addition, the method for path planning model will also be explained to effectively optimize a path to rescue a target. Compared with RRT, the time is improved by 32.75% by utilizing the improved RRT-connect and the path is improved by 26.33%.
