A Clearing Model Considering Storage Participation in the Capacity Market

With the establishment of a spot market and the construction of a new power system based on renewables, it is urgent to solve the shortage of generation capacity. To ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system most economically, this paper constructs a clearing model by considering the participation of energy storage in the capacity market. Taking the actual data of Guizhou province as an example, the validity of the model is verified. It provides a reference for energy storage to participate in the capacity market.
