Automation systems in vehicles are rapidly evolving. This work explores an automatic car ventilation system and traffic management system utilizing microcontrollers. A cost-effective automated car ventilation system integrated with the vehicle’s existing systems, ensuring efficient control of interior temperature and air quality has been implemented. In future, smart traffic control will become a critical issue due to the growing number of road users and the limited resources provided by the current infrastructure. We have designed a traffic control system taking into account the density of traffic and priority for the emergency vehicles. Cars in future may incorporate air quality control systems along with the temperature control systems. Communication and network integration between multiple traffic signals along a road network can help to co-ordinate traffic flow management.
