Security is a critical concern in the rapidly advancing era of autonomous vehicles. However, the security challenges specific to automotive systems are often not well-understood beyond a small group of specialized experts. In this paper, we address this gap by introducing the first exploration platform designed to provide a hands-on understanding of security vulnerabilities related to wheel speed sensors. Unlike previous research that focused on identifying or creating new attacks, the platform aims to educate and engage users ranging from students to industry experts by allowing them to explore and understand the implications of security breaches in automotive systems. We detail the unique challenges and considerations in the design of such a novel exploration platform and illustrate its use in examining various attack vectors targeting wheel speed sensors. This work serves as both an educational tool and a practical framework for enhancing awareness and knowledge in the field of automotive security.
