Implementing Agile Design and Standard Work Hour Model via Dashboard Monitoring

Yagnesh Purohit, Shilpa Parkhi · 2024

Agile design and standard work hour models are fundamental to enhancing efficiency in modern manufacturing and service sectors. This study examines the integration of these models through advanced dashboard monitoring systems, emphasizing their impact on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. By facilitating real-time data collection and analysis, dashboards empower managers to optimize processes and align designs with standardized work schedules. The study reveals that dashboards not only streamline production but also reduce lead times and production costs by balancing flexibility with consistency. They enable predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and continuous improvement through advanced analytics and machine learning, further enhancing resource allocation and productivity. A detailed survey analysis, employing Chi-Square tests and Factor Analysis, underscores the significant benefits of frequent dashboard use in improving routine work, resource allocation, and compliance with delivery schedules. It also highlights areas for enhancement, particularly in integrating financial and sales management functionalities. In conclusion, the strategic use of dashboard monitoring systems provides a comprehensive approach to harmonizing customization with productivity. This approach fosters a robust balance between technological advancements and human factors, leading to sustained competitive advantage and significant improvements in efficiency and performance.
