Individuals with visual impairments encounter significant difficulties in navigating and interacting with their surroundings. Cognitive radio sensor networks (CRSNs) have become a highly promising approach for assisting these individuals by providing real-time environmental data. Using recent developments in machine learning and wireless communications, this study introduces an AI-based approach to CRSNs for visually impaired individuals. A network of cognitive radio sensors is employed in the proposed system to gather and process surroundings data. This data is subsequently analyzed using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to provide useful information to the visually impaired user. The work presents an analysis of the system design along with it's features, and assessment of the proposed solution. The results highlight the significant improvement in the quality of life for visually impaired individuals.
