This project aspires to transform communication for those with speech impairments by introducing a groundbreaking Indian Sign Language (ISL) to speech converter. At its core is a wearable glove fitted with pushbuttons and linked to an Arduino Uno microcontroller board, which deciphers ISL gestures and translates them into text. The Arduino Uno processes these gestures and converts them into text, which is then articulated into natural-sounding speech using a Python-based text-to-speech (TTS) system. To broaden its utility, the text can be translated into multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. This integrated approach ensures smooth conversion of ISL gestures into spoken words, facilitating communication and bridging the divide between sign language users and the wider community. By leveraging advanced technologies such as Arduino and Python, the ISL to Speech Converter promotes inclusivity and accessibility, empowering individuals with speech impairments to engage more effectively and independently. This innovation holds the promise of significantly enhancing lives by fostering better social interactions, increased participation, and improved overall well-being
