Fiber Optical Current Transformers (FOCT) have become the key equipment in the field of electric power measurement because of its good performance, but its optical fiber loop is easy to be affected by the external environment, resulting in inaccurate measurement and poor stability. Due to the shortcomings of the existing off-line periodic calibration of FOCT by using standard, such as lack of real-time error calibration, in this paper, an evaluation model of measurement error of FOCT based on Canonical Variable Analysis is constructed, and the online measurement error is realized, taking the group correlation of multiple mutual redundant transformers as the constraint condition, the error evaluation of FOCT is mapped to the real-time monitoring of the T2statistics by using Canonical Variable Analysis, the abnormal FOCT is isolated with contribution diagram. The experimental results show that the proposed method can accurately monitor the measurement error of 0.2-level FOCT, and realize the accurate evaluation of the measurement error of FOCT in operation.
