Cloud computing is transforming the healthcare industry by providing scalable, and cost-effective solutions for storage, analysis, and access to health information and services. This comprehensive review examines the roles, benefits, challenges, and the future prospects of cloud computing in healthcare. The paper highlights the ways in which cloud computing improves data management and collaboration, enables telemedicine, lowers costs, and supports research and development. To fully realize the promise of cloud computing, hurdles such as data security, compliance and stability of the system must be overcome. The integration of new technologies such as blockchain, IoT with cloud computing show the possibility of future developments and shows that the application of cloud computing in healthcare will have a significant impact on healthcare delivery, enabling healthcare solutions that are personalized, flexible and global.
