Software spec for Names Project released

The Names Project is a JISC-funded initiative "to scope the requirements of UK institutional and subject repositories for a service that will reliably and uniquely identify individuals and institutions". The Software Requirements Specification for the Names prototype name authority service was released on July 11, 2008.
