Google introduces a spoken-word search engine

Google has introduced an experimental search engine for spoken words in YouTube videos. At the moment it only indexes videos of political speeches. Nice features: When you search for a term or phrase, you can choose among the hits by reading short (10-12 word) transcripts of the passages which include your search terms. When you pull up an individual video, you can search further within it. Not so nice:
