9th Order Cavity Filter Design and Optimization Utilizing AI Method of Synmatrix Software

In this paper, we present a design procedure of a 9th-order bandpass cavity filter at 2.655GHz with three transmission zeros using Artificial Intelligence Tuning of the Synmatrix software. After 28 iterations, the initial frequency error level of 60% decreased to 3%, while the initial coupling error of 27% declined to 1%. The designed fabricated filter was measured, and the measurement and simulation results were in good agreement.
