The accessibility and cybersecurity of biometric authentication systems could be greatly improved with the incorporation of new technology. This study delves into the latest developments in biometric systems that make use of state-of-the-art technology like deep learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning to enhance security and user experience. We take a look at how biometric authentication has progressed from simpler, more conventional approaches to more advanced, user-friendly ones, such as behavioural and multimodal biometrics. This study places a strong emphasis on accessibility as it seeks to understand how new technology can work for a wide variety of people, including those who are physically or mentally impaired. To avoid compromising security for the sake of usability, we talk about how to build biometric systems that are accessible to everyone. Another area of emphasis is cybersecurity, specifically how biometric systems can be protected from vulnerabilities through the use of anti-spoofing, liveness detection, and sophisticated encryption. We also offer solutions to protect user information while keeping authentication effective, taking into account the privacy implications of storing and transmitting biometric data. In addition, we assess the accuracy, speed, and reliability of biometric systems, as well as the role that new technologies play in lowering the rates of erroneous acceptance and rejection. The study also discusses the social effect of biometric authentication systems, as well as compliance needs and ethical concerns. With that said, the study's findings provide light on how new technology may revolutionise biometric authentication systems by making them more accessible and enhancing their cybersecurity. It suggests ways forward for the creation of trustworthy biometric systems that are open to all users and protect their personal information.
