This research focuses on how IoT Automation supports environmental monitoring in supply chain management for sustainable and ethical procurement. These systems consist of sensors, data analytics and wireless communication in that they offer real time and accurate measurements on elements such as air and water qualities and physical, chemical and electrical qualities of the soils that are pertinent to the environment. It also reveals the applicability of the IoT technology to make important changes such as increasing transparency, meeting sustainability standards while using resources efficiently. Therefore, the methodology identifies the placement of sensors, the stages of transmitting and storing data, analysing data, and integrating data acquired from the sensors with the supply chain management systems. Through experiments, it has been shown that the system provides a tool for reporting on environmental issues and management of sustainability. This study provides a clear implication that IoT technology can enhance positive environmental as well as societal impacts on global supply chain.
