The intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and environmental ethics represents a critical and increasingly relevant area of inquiry as technology advances and environmental concerns escalate. AI, with its transformative potential, offers substantial benefits for environmental management, including enhanced data analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization of resource use. For example, AI-driven tools can enhance climate modeling, predict natural disasters, and optimize energy consumption. In agriculture, AI can be used to monitor crop health, manage water usage, and reduce waste through precision farming techniques. Additionally, AI applications in environmental monitoring can detect pollution levels, track wildlife populations, and support conservation efforts. These capabilities offer the promise of more effective and data-driven approaches to addressing environmental challenges and achieving sustainability goals. The benefits of AI in environmental management may not be evenly distributed across different regions and communities.
