Knowledge representation is one of the core areas in artificial intelligence and digital personality Therefore, the studys value lies in its exploration of how such knowledge can be harnessed by systems to achieve a given set of objectives. Traditionally, knowledge representation has been done through symbolism connectionism rather than semantic networks, though the latter are superior and are further becoming improved by the enhancements in AI and computing technologies. In this chapter, a considerable number of topics related to KR are presented and several forms of knowledge representation including the symbolic and connectionist forms are described. Some of the topics that are included are ontology/taxonomy, knowledge graphs construction and application, utilization and dissemination of Semantic Web/link data in digital settings. However, the field has some critical issue such as how to import from different knowledge structures and how to learn the mapping from natural language to knowledge representation. To address these issues, there exist refined solutions that need to be implemented, and stable fundamental for knowledge extraction and utilization have to be established. This chapter also aims at informing readers about what knowledge representation entails and to guide them in how to use this topic in the development of digital personalities. Combining the description of the machine learning methods in the context of this chapter, the presentation of the graph databases, and the usage of real-life experience cases, the author of this chapter intends to turn knowledge representation to a discussed and perspective field. According to the given case scenarios, our study proves that incorporating the knowledge representation with the digital personality will eventually enhance the communication with systems and so create even more efficient and designer AI systems. Based on the findings of the present research, one can identify the following trends in the further development of knowledge representation: rather by the emerging technologies and ethical factors hence the continuous enhancement and advancement of the technological solutions within the field.
