This chapter focuses on contextualizing the five industrial cases with what we learned in this book. It explains the selection and significance of these five cases as representative examples of model-based product line engineering (MBPLE) adoption in different industrial contexts. It applies the MBPLE adoption quadrant to the five cases to understand and analyze the adoption patterns they followed. It concludes by highlighting the commonalities and differences among the five organizations in the adoption of MBPLE, following the related framework presented in this book.
