Real-Time Detection and Historical Tracking of Windows Errors with Sysmon and Wazuh

The rapid detection and efficient management of system errors are crucial for maintaining the performance and security of any computing environment.This research paper proposes a solution that utilizes Sysmon (System Monitor) to capture detailed logs of Windows system errors and Wazuh as a centralized platform to analyze, manage, and monitor these logs in real time.The goal of this study is to implement a unified framework for error tracking, historical analysis, and real-time alerting.The methodology integrates Sysmon for error collection, Wazuh for log management, and a centralized dashboard to visualize and respond to issues.The system ensures optimized performance, secure operations, and proactive decision-making.Preliminary results indicate that this approach reduces manual troubleshooting and enables better system optimization, which enhances overall system security and performance.
