Testing legacy code

From The Power of Go: Tests Are you writing legacy code? Probably not on purpose, but you might be doing it without meaning to. Legacy code isn't necessarily bad code, and it probably works, more or less, after a fashion: it wouldn't have survived long enough to become legacy code otherwise. But it has problems. Legacy code is hard to understand, hard to maintain, and hard to debug.
