The development of tourism in Bangladesh is heavily dependent on effective international com-munication. This is where ESL teachers contribute by training the workforce in linguistic skills. The study explores the use of artificial intelligence for the professional development of ESL teachers to meet the demands of the tourism industry. AI-supported tools such as adaptive learn-ing platforms, virtual teaching assistants, and real-time analytics will allow teachers to customize their methods to individual learners to improve their English proficiency for tourism profession-als. Case studies and emerging sources that will show the effectiveness of AI in professional de-velopment are presented in the paper, along with the discussion of issues like accessibility and the digital divide. However, findings have shown the importance of creating AI-supported solutions for ESL training courses to form a globally competent tourism workforce for Bangladesh.
