A Novel Watermarking Approach for Video Objects

Gurdeep Singh, Sonam Mittal · 2025

This study proposes a robust method for video watermarking combining guided filter and motion-frame-based approaches to safeguard the legal identification of the video object from illegal tampering, unauthorized access, and copyright protection for social security. Using the guided filtering paradigm, the proposed method aims to preserve the excellence of the investigated video object by including a watermark in video frames safeguarding the feature of blind watermark recognition. The guided filter helps the watermark to be more resistant against numerous attacks including noise, frame-specific, and compression. Using the motion frames, the keyframes have been selected to minimize distortion by pushing in the watermark with the least disturbance. In terms of quality and robustness, the evaluation findings after simulation indicate that the proposed strategy surpasses present video watermarking techniques.
