This study addresses the growing challenges of traditional elderly care models in meeting the diverse needs of the aging population by presenting a human-computer interactive elderly care system based on the Pepper robot. The system integrates advanced technologies, including voice recognition, emotion analysis, and intelligent life assistance, to provide key functionalities such as daily companionship through voice communication and emotion recognition, real-time weather and solar term updates for personalized clothing and dietary recommendations, and health-promoting activities like Baduanjin and Tai Chi exercises. These modules work together to enhance emotional well-being and daily comfort for elderly individuals, offering a comprehensive and efficient solution to modern elderly care. The results demonstrate the system's potential to significantly improve the quality of life for seniors, providing an innovative approach to address the evolving needs of elderly care in an aging society.
