A Review of Key Technologies for Monocular 3D Face Reconstruction
Yuanyuan Zhao, Lu Chen · 2024
In recent years, 3D face reconstruction techniques have gradually become a research hotspot. As a key part of visual perception, the human face contains a wealth of individual features, so it occupies an important position in 3D reconstruction and has a wide range of application potential. Currently, most 3D face reconstruction research focuses on single image face processing, while monocular 3D face reconstruction has been widely used in various fields due to its convenience and efficiency. Therefore, this paper will focus on monocular 3D face reconstruction, first outlining the development history of the technique and its commonly used datasets, followed by an in-depth analysis of the challenges and the application scenarios in which it can be implemented.
