Systematic time series analysis procedure

This is one of the concluding chapters. It gathers various aspects described in the book and puts them together into the application procedure, how to perform the time-series assessment procedure, focused on the control engineering context with the relation to the control performance assessment task. This procedure is the Author&s;s proposal. Though validated during several of industrial projects, specific situations may imply its modifications. Rigid adherence to procedure is not always effective, especially in unusual situations. Customization dependent on the specifics encountered are sometimes simply necessary. This procedure applies to the assessment of single, univariate time series. The multivariate case can be assessed by successive applications of the above procedure. Once data origin from the same, comparable site, the assessment might be extended by causality, homogeneity and discordance analysis.
