E-Interpretation System

For a decade cloud computing has received huge attention in the area of education and smart learning in India. Educational clouds have enhanced and modernized teaching-learning methods with the support of technology. Smart learning through educational clouds is providing economical, secure, and accessible educational services. This chapter discusses a smart education system for e-learning using cloud services in the light of delivering a real-time interpretation of texts and images from any documents. The proposed e-interpretation system consists of five modules for employing cloud-based e-learning service: (1) an educational cloud platform providing an accessible network for the cloud-based environment for media services, (2) a compatible system providing contents from documents through various devices, (3) an interpretation system that enables real-time interpretation of various documents, (4) content displayer with a specialized engine which displays the results on different platforms based on individual needs and learning capabilities, and (5) a security system managing user access and encryption in the cloud. The cloud-based interpretation system should provide new room for cloud-based educational services by supporting e-learning services with an integrated system. This service is extremely beneficial for students with special needs, as they can access various study materials from educational clouds and interpret the content and images as per their needs.
