Rapid growth of Internet of things (IoT) brings both advantages as well as difficulties. Connected devices and sensors provide chances for improved efficiency and optimization. However, they also generate intricate networks that are susceptible to criminality, requiring thorough forensic investigation. Conventional methods frequently encounter difficulties in such dynamic and decentralized settings. This study presents an innovative method that utilizes blockchain technology to enhance the reliability of forensic evidence in the field of Internet of Things (IoT). The framework guarantees the genuineness of data, the integrity of examination operations, the confidentiality of information, privacy, and the integrity of evidence items. We have developed a detailed framework specifically designed for managing forensic evidence in IoT systems that are integrated with blockchain technology. This framework utilizes the SHA-3 hash algorithm. It offers a strong and dependable solution for ensuring the security of evidence in the expanding realm of networked devices.
