Malware analysis involves examining and understanding the behavior of malicious software, with the aim of identifying its capabilities, intent, and potential impact on affected systems. Singularity AV is a Windows application designed to assess whether an uploaded file is malicious. Our research included a comprehensive analysis of features from leading antivirus software, such as Avast, Kaspersky, McAfee, Norton, Webroot, and Bitdefender, which were subsequently integrated into Singularity AV. This tool utilizes these features to scan files and detect known malicious code and behavioral patterns, thereby facilitating early detection and mitigating potential damage from malware. By incorporating advanced detection capabilities from established antivirus solutions, Singularity AV provides a robust and versatile approach to malware detection and prevention.
