Ashish Chaturvedi, Ratish Agarwal, Sachin Goyal · 2024

As we know Mobile Ad Hoc Network is constructed by open and shared medium. Due to this shared nature of media, attacker can easily perform malicious activity. in order to block the unauthorized node to access the network, Network administrator focus on the network security by making different policies and provisions. In this Ad Hoc network, most serious issue which is arising today is jamming attack. It must be resolved in efficient manner with increasing the network performance. Jamming is one of the types of DoS problem. Jammer (Attacker in jamming attack) is one who disturbs the ongoing data transmission between authentic nodes of these networks. Jammer prevents the authorized message to reach out at destination end it also degrades the performance of Ad Hoc Network. In the paper we have presented a detailed review study of jamming attack and there different solutions with there pros and cons. This article represent the comparative study of suitable work done on various jamming, types of jammer and there prevention schemes
