Single Underwater Image Restoration by Lightness Channel Dehazing and Chromaticity Channels Correction

In order to take the lead in the competition for underwater resources and enable low-end edge devices to be widely deployed, an underwater image restoration algorithm that is computationally simple, has significant effects, and easy to implement is particularly important. The new method we proposed in this paper that based on Oklab color space, dehazing on lightness channel and correcting color on chromaticity channels, can fill this gap.
