A Comprehensive Analysis of Brainwave Fingerprint Detection Using EEG Pattern Recognition Techniques

EEG technology is being revolutionized at this period, creating some massively important applications, which propose two important questions regarding the security of data collection from the human brain and the possibility of distinguishing between different people's brainwave fingerprints. This study will review EEG technology and explore the process of brainwave fingerprinting, using statistical analysis by evaluating three different approaches, which are Critical channels' PSD mean analysis, Alpha Band Analysis, and Event-Related Potential (ERP), and observing the results to discover a simple and accurate method to be easily implemented.
