The stacked Blumlein pulse generator (SBPG), famed for its exceptional voltage efficiency, fits seamlessly into the current trend towards compact and flexible pulsed power technology. Addressing the limitations of high voltage isolation and coupling, which have hindered the increase in SBPG stages, contributes to its widespread application in pulsed power field. This paper presents customized output voltage stacked Blumlein pulse generator (COVSBPG) to these challenges. Isolation module equipped with common mode (CM) inductor and optical is introduced to transforms the charging and discharging circuits and trig switch, effectively resolving isolation issues. A coupling model including parasitic pulse forming network and multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) is proposed to analyse and eliminate coupling issue. Simulation results indicate an output voltage amplitude of 50 kV, verifying the driver isolation is solved. When the coupling capacitance is less than 1/1000 of the corresponding capacitance, the coupling effect becomes negligible, thus coupling intensity can be eliminated by MLCC. A 10-stage COVSBPG equipped with isolation module and MLCC is built. The results show pulses can be superimposed to reach 44.1 kV with a stable output current of 750 A. These innovations enable solid-state compact SBPG to achieve higher voltage generation and underscore their potential for widespread adoption.
