Malayalam language is characterized as a phone-mic language wherein graphemes are directly associated with phonemes. Malayalam words are essentially compositions of the phonetic units, the vowels and the consonants in the order they appear in the written script. Vowels exhibit distinctive waveforms that recur multiple times, contributing to the perception of a unique sound. This endeavor seeks to undertake a classification of Malayalam vowels utilizing an embedded platform, thereby facilitating analysis of the language's phonetic structure for the recognition of the Malayalam words.
