New AI and ML technologies have evolved at such a pace that a few industries, including the health and finance sectors, have changed. At the same time, mammoth cybersecurity challenges begin to appear. Therefore, such new technology brings forth sophisticated cyber threats that target inherent weaknesses, infringe on data privacy, and create complexities in regulation. Human behavior is an important cause of security breaches, and organizations must tackle them by employing broad cyber strategies. Advanced threat detection would require advanced technologies and the evolution of culture to the practice of cybersecurity awareness among employees. Targeted training and education programs will lead to engagement and minimize human error-based risk factors. Increased international cooperation needs strong legal frameworks to be built in order to face cyber threats effectively. Bridging the gap between technological growth and regulatory requirements is paramount to ensuring the security of sensitive information and maintaining stakeholder trust. Developing appropriate security systems is essential in such a continuously changing digital landscape, wherein research and cooperation need to be maintained.
