In response to the need for converting diagnostic systems into intelligent tutoring systems, we have developed a futuristic tool to assist in the training of doctors, nurses, health technicians and pharmacists. It is part of an integrated hospital information system, christened Health-2000, which combines a system for medical diagnosis and a system for fault diagnosis among its many features. The main function of the intelligent tutoring system is to provide training in two main areas: the development and use of tutorial software aimed at improving health care, and how to combat malaria.
