AI has been increasingly utilized to detect and prevent election fraud, offering significant advancements in ensuring electoral integrity. Through the application of advanced machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, AI can identify and classify patterns of misinformation, fraudulent claims, and manipulated content, particularly on social media platforms. This study explores the use of AI in election fraud detection, focusing on NLP for analyzing textual data and computer vision models like ResNet50 for identifying misleading or manipulated images. By preprocessing and extracting meaningful features from social media data, including election-related tweets, AI can efficiently detect misleading narratives, false claims of voter fraud, and other forms of election manipulation. The research highlights the potential of AI-driven solutions to address challenges in monitoring and preventing election fraud, ensuring transparent and fair electoral processes.
