The paper identifies various critical gaps in security protocols and models used for distributed environments. It can be evaluated by inspecting some of the major security protocols such as standard encrypting algorithms, key management, etc based on several factors such as availability, scalability, adaptability, efficiency, vulnerability and comparing them with latest technologies to analyze the best output results. Through this comparison, the paper highlights the strength and weakness of the current models and algorithms used to secure the systems in distributed environments. To address the shortcomings of the current models, some novel security protocols and models are introduced in this paper which enhances the security of systems. These new protocols are tested against the current models, using both theoretical analysis and practical simulations. Comparison showed that the proposed model offers improvement in overall performance in aspect of data integrity, authentication, availability, and system efficiency. The new model is then compared with the current model to analyze the efficiency of the new model. The paper concludes to integrate these protocols into existing systems and in future research directions to further optimize distributed security frameworks.
