This paper presents the development of an automated landing algorithm that enables a drone to land on a moving platform utilizing computer vision techniques. Our solution is tailored to enhance real-time tracking and dynamically adjust the drone's position, ensuring a precise landing on the ground mobile robot equipped with the landing platform. This advancement facilitates collaboration between unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, thereby increasing autonomy and automation. The system was designed and tested in a simulation environment, Webots, and employs the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and a rudimentary four-wheeled ground robot.
