Currently, with the wide application of three-phase asynchronous motors, it is becoming increasingly important to accurately diagnose motor fault in complex environment. Due to the limitation of single-type modal data, traditional single-modality methods tend to be susceptible to external disturbances. The multimodal methods, in contrast, can take advantage of the complementary relationships between the different correlated modalities, compensating for the information lost by the disturbed modality, reducing the influence of external interference, and carry out motor fault diagnosis more comprehensively and accurately. Depending on multimodal methods, targeting the three modalities of vibration, sound and current of three-phase asynchronous motors, this paper compared two proposed algorithmic structures, proposes a method of multimodal motor fault diagnosis to achieve more accurate motor fault detection.
