Electric vehicles provide low-cost energy and ancillary services in the electricity market, which is crucial for the efficient and economical operation of the new power system. In order to fully utilize the responsiveness of electric vehicles and effectively participate in market transactions, load aggregators need to aggregate all electric vehicles under control to adapt to existing market rules. However, due to differences in the regulation characteristics and physical parameters of electric vehicles, individuals have high heterogeneity, which makes traditional aggregation methods based on Minkowski sum computationally complex. The feasible inner approximation method for the flexibility of electric vehicle clusters based on structure preserving transformation is proposed in this paper. By optimizing the affine transformation of a given convex polytope in the half-space representation, the flexibility of an electric vehicle cluster can be approximated. Numerical experiments have shown that this method has high approximation accuracy, and compared to traditional models, the proposed aggregation model exhibits superior solving performance.
