Lifelog Tagging System Using Physiological Indicators

When recalling specific scenes later in life, we recall scenes that made a strong impression on us. A tagging system based on emotional swings is needed as a method to retrieve specific scenes from a long-time life log with less invasiveness to the user. In this paper, we propose a lifelog tagging system based on emotional swings, using heartbeats for emotion estimation. As an example of a lifelog, we tagged a horror movie, which tends to show emotional ups and downs. As an experimental result, we have achieved tagging our experiences by using our emotional status. Many of the scenes in which we felt emotional turmoil were impressive scenes. The challenge is to increase the number of types of emotions and to add more conditions to the environment.
