ANTI COUNTERFEIT PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION USING BLOCKCHAIN

Blockchain technology has gained prominence as it attains security along with a decentralized structure.The issue of counterfeit products is on the rise and harms businesses as well as consumers, so there is a need for reliable product authentication.The proposed product solution involves QR codes linked to blockchain records.A unique QR code is assigned to every product to be stored as a block in the blockchain; subsequently, the consumer can scan the code for authenticity.If the code corresponds to the saved data, it is considered a valid product; otherwise, it is marked as fake.
