Manipulating Controlled FPGA Component of Companion Screen and Streams

Kohkhryakov Evgeny Igorevich · 2024

An modern communication systems require controlled user-ended terminals. The device of terminal (FPGA) is component of Companion Screen and Streams (CSS) architecture. The component communicates between Companion Screen Application (CSA). Mobile application CSA sends manipulating and changing content processing DVB-S2/S2x mode requests to terminal. Building requests is discussed for satellites in application layer of OSI model for 4 and 5 formats of DVB-S2X. A requests model and communication model are described in Restful and CSS architectures correspondingly. We shell model application, presentation where resource authorization and request processing are discussed. On same layer of OSI a critical resource of FPGA microprocessor has been estimated. In a data link and physical layers different FPGA drivers resource consumption are compared. The issues of embedding all system components and their possible implementations of authentication, session allocation and encryption, interaction with transport or lower layers using technologies from leading IoT vendors are discussed.
