This research work describes the design and construction of a mobile robot system integrated with ROS navigation and 2D LiDAR that can run automatic operations in hospitals. The initial process for the robot starts with gmapping, for path planning, and SLAM for real-time mapping and also allows ease of operation in dynamic medical environments by using a mobile app. It aims to improve operation efficiency by leading to automation of repetitive tasks, relieving the medical staff, and enhancing patient care. The robot has intuitive smartphone app control. It helps the robot assist with dispensing medication and transporting supplies. The enormous testing program shows that the robot performs very well inside hospital facilities, detects obstacles, and even ensures real-time connectivity that helps improve patient safety and the effectiveness of operations.
