Ethical Foundation for Healthcare Drone

Drone use in public healthcare has the potential to improve productivity in areas with limited resources. To protect individuals impacted while maximising the technology's advantages, ethical standards must be established as a result of the use of drones in healthcare. This essay offers an ethical framework designed to direct the creation, advancement, use, and assessment of drones used in public healthcare. The framework is organised around five core principles: beneficence, nonmaleficence, autonomy, fairness, and explicability. It draws influence from both bioethics and artificial intelligence ethics. These ideas are abstract, making it difficult to operationalize them. In order to overcome this, we provide a strategy that translates these high-level ethical principles into relevant human values within the healthcare industry. The developed paradigm functions as a useful tool for applied ethics, raising awareness of important moral issues all throughout the drones’ lifetime in public healthcare.
