Review of Implementation of AI in Parliamentary Election Campaign in India

Naveen Kumar, Rohit Kumar · 2024

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in India's parliamentary election campaigns has completely changed the country's political environment. The several ways that artificial intelligence (AI) might improve campaign tactics, voter turnout, and election administration are examined in this review study. Important artificial intelligence (AI) tools including chatbots, sentiment analysis, microtargeting, and voter profiling are evaluated for their potential to improve political outreach and communication. The study illustrates the efficacy of AI-driven digital campaigning methods and their influence on voter behaviour and election outcomes through an analysis of case studies from recent Indian elections. It also discusses privacy and ethical issues related to the use of AI in political campaigns and offers frameworks for regulations to reduce any risks.
