A CS Algorithm for Multireceiver SAS with Angular Motion Error Compensation

Motion is both the answer and the question, which is the perfect interpretation of synthetic aperture imaging. In multireceiver synthetic aperture sonar (SAS), the angular motion error of SAS platform leads to different sway and heave errors for each receiver, resulting in squint, which will have a significant impact on image quality. Considering the angular motion of the multireceiver SAS, we establish an echo signal model and propose a CS algorithm with angular motion error compensation under narrow-beam condition. The imaging results of the measured data demonstrate that our proposed algorithm can significantly improve the imaging effect.
